It has been quite a whirlwind month and I can’t believe it’s already almost over! It feels like just yesterday was the first day of pumpkin spiced everything!
I have pushed myself on so many different levels this month with getting things either done or started.
In fact, I have been pushing myself so much, that I am just completely exhausted and in some intense away time.
September brought a lot of intense anxiety about several different things, and also, a busier schedule than I had anticipated.
So, I am going to be taking the next four days or so to just disconnect and recharge for the month to come. I love being busy, but, I am also learning that I need to balance everything.
You know how I have said I try to take one day every other week or so to disconnect from everything and have some me-time alone? Well, I actually haven’t done that this month, and I am definitely feeling the effects of it!
I know I have said this probably a dozen times before, but I want to say it again. Ladies, take some time out of your busy schedule. Do something for yourself. Love yourself.
If you don’t take time to let yourself-your emotional, spiritual and even physical wells will run dry, and if you don’t have any “water in the well” how can you help others?
I think we as women get so caught u with making sure everyone else is cared for and that everyone else is okay, that we tend to forget about making sure that we. ourselves are cared for and taken care of.
“ For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.” Hebrews 4:10 (NIV)
“Then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles didn’t even have time to eat.” Mark 6:31 (NLT)
You see, even Jesus urged his disciples to go and rest. To take time to do what was necessary to take care of themselves.
““For I have given rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing.”” Jeremiah 31:25
“”Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”” Matthew 11:28
So, I will see you all if a few days! I hope you have an amazing weekend!
See you all in a few!
