What is a warrior?
By definition, a warrior, is “a person engaged or experienced in some kind of warfare” or “a person engaged in some kind of struggle or conflict.”
What image does the term “warrior woman” conjure up in your mind? Probably a fierce woman in the midst of battle. Worn, dirty-maybe even bloody-from the battle she’s been fighting. Her face set in resolve and her eyes in focus. Her hands gripping her weapon in surety that it’s the right tool for the task.
A Warrior must be ready for the battle she will face. They must be prepared physically, mentally and spiritually.
A Warrior must train, she must learn herself; what she is and what she isn’t and use her gifts to her advantage.
She must become not only comfortable, but confident in her own skin and in her strengths.
She must also be able to admit when she is in need of help.
A Warrior is courageous and willing to head into battle knowing she might be hurt, but also realizing that she is fighting for a higher cause.
A Warrior must be able to make important decisions with clarity and surety in a timely fashion.
Her comrades must be able to depend on her; she is loyal and dependable.
“We are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 (NLT)
Each of us if fighting a battle in the spiritual realm.
Each Warrior Woman must learn herself and be willing to be taught by those who are more experienced and have more knowledge and wisdom than she.
There is so much to becoming the true Warrior Woman God created each woman to be.
Becoming a true Warrior Woman is not just a “do it, did it, done” kind of thing. It takes a lifetime of learning and training because the Christian walk is a life-long journey filled with battles!
And, because we must learn how to face these spiritual battles, I would like to officially introduce you to ‘Warrior Woman Ministries’!
Here, we’ll be discussing all the attacks that Christians wrestle against; the conflicts occurring in “Modern Culture”, the barrage of fiery arrows the enemy throws into our personal lives and the spiritual battles we encounter.
Not only will we be discussing the different kinds of warfare Christ-Followers deal with, we will be searching his word and learn how to effectively fight against these assaults!
We’ll also be exploring the Bible for examples of Warrior Women-and even some Warrior Men! And finally, we will be learning that we were “Made For Such A Time As This”, what that really means, and why!
This is going to be an exciting journey, and I hope you will join me in learning how to become a warrior woman!
Congrats on the new ministry! I hope it’s a wonderful encouragement!
